BERTRAND RUSSELL INSTITUTE

Sponsor School
Via E. Filiberto 6 - 35122 - Padova,  Other Cities (Italy - Europe) COURSES:
   Italian
  • The Bertrand Russell Language Institute has been active in Padua since 1975, and is definitely very popular, the place for those who want to begin or continue their study of the Italian Language. Indeed, the Institute takes great care to find out the real needs of its students, offering courses at all levels and for varying lengths of time. Since its foundation, thousands of students, as well as many cultural operators, entrepreneurs and professionals who studied with us have flatteringly praised us and referred their relatives, friends and employees to our Institute.

The School has also become an international meeting point which, thanks to its highly specialized staff and their dynamic and effective teaching methods, supplies students with the necessary tools for getting to know or deepening their knowledge of the Italian language and culture.
All this is supported by a series of services, such as the offer of accommodation with Italian families or in flats, the organization of day trips and excursions that allow students to know Padua, its history and its territory, and several social events that allow students to get to know each other, Italy and the Italians.
The city of Padua is home to one of the oldest and most famous Universities (13th century), but it is also, at the same time, a city in which ancient and modern merge and live together in harmony: one can admire ancient masterpieces like the Roman Arena, the Scrovegni Chapel, with frescos by Giotto,  Saint Anthony’s Basilica, Saint Justina’s Basilica, the Augustinian church of the Eremitani, and the Pedrocchi Café, but, at the same time, Padua is also an important industrial city who come service centre in the territory, the seat of several innovative companies and the home of many students, coming from all over the world and who contribute to its remaining a young and lively city and who meet to socialize and drink “spritz” in the beautiful squares of the old city, surrounded by characteristic arcades and separated by the imposing Palazzo della Ragione.

Padua’s central position makes it possible to reach other important cities such as Venice, Verona, Vicenza, Treviso and Bologna easily. The nearby thermal centres of Abano and Montegrotto Terme and the nature park in the Euganean Hills offer superb recreational and relaxation facilities.

Not far away there are the fine Adriatic beaches of Sottomarina, Jesolo, Caorle, Lignano Sabbiadoro, Bibione and the ski slopes of the Dolomites. The city-plan to be found in our brochure, or by following this link, will help you locate our school, which is easily reached as it is situated in the heart of the old city.
