Now that you have taken the decision to enroll in an English language course for adults, what’s the next step?   Have you thought about your objectives for learning English?  Do you need to develop your fluency, improve your general level of English for work or study purposes, get a specific grade in IELTS, TOEFL iBT or Cambridge?

Whatever your reason for choosing to learn English language in Malta, you will find the right course to suit your needs at the European School of English.  We cater for a variety of language needs, learning styles and levels of proficiency so you can rest assured that we will help you  achieve your language learning objectives.

And what’s more – we guarantee quality teaching in all our English language  courses for adults, all-year-round from Beginner (A1 CEFR) to Proficiency (C2 CEFR). At ESE we follow the Council of Europe and the Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE) system which defines language competency levels.

    Your English language level
All students may take their  English placement test online (www.ese-edu.com) at least 14 days before their course start date. Alternatively, students may sit for a placement test on their first day of school. Placement tests allow our Academics Team to determine our students’  level of English and place them in a class which is suitable for their language level. Our academic staff ensures that there is a good mix of nationalities in every class.

    Creative and Interactive classes

Forget your old school learning experience.  At ESE, there is no chalk and talk.  Our highly qualified teachers are trained to maintain motivating and inspiring lessons to keep you talking in a friendly and informal environment.

    Authentic materials
Learning English does not stop at the use of a course book. You will also experience learning through authentic materials such as newspapers, the internet, radio and TV programmes and other mediums. In other words, we bring the real world into our classrooms.

    A helping hand
No question is irrelevant for ESE staff.  Teachers and the Academic Staff are there to guide you and provide ongoing support, advice and feedback. Our main goal is to ensure you are comfortable and confident in our classroom environment. Your satisfaction is what makes our job worthwhile.

    Self-Access Centre
Learning goes beyond the classroom. That is why ESE has created a Self-Access Study Centre where you can use the computers to log onto our ESE E-Learning site or pop into our library to borrow a book or a DVD.  Ask your teacher to guide you on which kinds of activities to do on our E-learning portal or to suggest a good book for your level or particular interest.
